Atty. Jerico Angelo P. Galvez, also known as Atty. Eco, is a distinguished graduate of San Beda University College of Law in Manila. He specializes in political, criminal, and labor laws, and provides expert legal counsel to clients in various judicial and quasi-judicial forums. His extensive experience in these areas enables him to handle complex legal issues with a high level of proficiency.
In addition to his legal practice, Atty. Eco is a dedicated law professor, focusing on political law subjects. His role as an educator allows him to contribute to the development of future legal professionals, bringing his practical experience into the classroom.
Atty. Galvez specializes in political law, criminal defense, and labor relations. His expertise includes election law, public office eligibility cases, and employment-related disputes. He has successfully represented clients in high-profile cases before various courts and administrative bodies.
Prior to co-founding GCP Law, Atty. Galvez was an associate at a prestigious law firm in Manila, where he handled a wide range of litigation and corporate cases. His experience includes representing clients in the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and various trial courts across the Philippines.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Atty. Eco enjoys assembling Gundam robots, a hobby that reflects his attention to detail and creativity. He also values his time with his bulldogs and goldfish, finding these activities both fun and relaxing.
Atty. Eco is married to Marnelli Payumo-Galvez, and together they have two children, Marthena Julienne and Joaquin Mateo. His family life is the source of his personal joy and fulfillment, providing balance to his demanding legal career.

Atty. Gian Carlo S. Cardino is a seasoned tax lawyer with extensive experience in tax litigation, audit assessments, and refund applications. He regularly appears before the Court of Tax Appeals, representing clients in complex tax disputes and refund claims. His dual qualifications as a lawyer and Certified Public Accountant provide him with unique insights into tax matters.
He provides comprehensive legal and tax advisory services, including general tax consultancy, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and corporate restructuring. His expertise extends to handling company registrations with various government agencies, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Atty. Cardino specializes in resolving complex tax assessments with the Bureau of Internal Revenue. He provides strategic guidance to corporate finance teams during tax audits and helps develop robust tax compliance programs to minimize risks and optimize tax positions for businesses.
Before co-founding GCP Law, Atty. Cardino was a tax and corporate lawyer at Sycip, Gorres, Velayo and Co. (SGV & Co.), one of the Philippines' most prestigious accounting and professional services firms. He worked closely with Atty. Emmanuel C. Alcantara, a former Tax Principal and Head of Tax Services at SGV & Co.
Atty. Cardino obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from San Beda University – Manila in 2012 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2013. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, bringing a unique combination of legal and accounting expertise to his practice.
Atty. Cardino is married to Atty. Margielyn G. Payumo-Cardino, his law partner at GCP Law. Their professional partnership is complemented by a strong personal relationship, making them a formidable team both in and out of the courtroom.

Atty. Margielyn G. Payumo-Cardino is a highly accomplished tax lawyer and Certified Public Accountant with extensive experience in tax law and corporate compliance. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from San Beda University – Manila in 2012 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2013. Her dual qualifications in law and accounting provide her with a comprehensive understanding of complex tax and business matters.
Before co-founding GCP Law, Atty. Payumo-Cardino served as a Director in the Business Tax Services division of Sycip Gorres Velayo & Co. (SGV & Co.), the Philippine member firm of Ernst & Young Global Limited. In this role, she led a team of tax professionals, providing strategic tax advisory services to multinational corporations, large local enterprises, and high-net-worth individuals.
Atty. Payumo-Cardino specializes in corporate tax planning, tax compliance, and business restructuring. She has extensive experience in handling tax audit assessments, corporate reorganizations, and cross-border transactions. Her expertise includes advising clients on tax-efficient business structures and representing them in tax disputes before the Bureau of Internal Revenue and the Court of Tax Appeals.
Throughout her career, Atty. Payumo-Cardino has been involved in numerous high-profile transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and tax due diligence for major corporations. Her ability to navigate complex tax regulations and provide practical solutions has earned her recognition as a leading tax practitioner in the Philippines.
Atty. Payumo-Cardino is an active member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) and the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). She regularly participates in tax seminars and continuing professional education programs to stay updated with the latest developments in tax law and accounting standards.
Atty. Payumo-Cardino is married to Atty. Gian Carlo S. Cardino, her law partner at GCP Law. Their shared passion for tax law and commitment to excellence have made them one of the most respected husband-and-wife legal teams in the country. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys mentoring young lawyers and contributing to legal education.
